Capacity
The comfortable capacity of the Church is 170 people. There are 16 pews in the middle aisle, for wedding bow purposes.
Music
There are several options for music during the ceremony. The Church Organ or Piano played by our Music Coordinator, one of the parish organists, or similarly experienced people; the use of the sound system to play digital or CD tracks via a device or similar. Couples are welcome to discuss with the Vicar additional music requests, e.g. acoustic instruments.
Photography & Videography
A video may be made of your wedding. We can help you find the right location for your camera. Your photographer and guests may use a flash during the processions at the beginning, and again at the end of the service, and also during the signing of the register.
For an additional fee, we can arrange for your service to be livestreamed on our YouTube channel.
Flowers
A member of the Flower Guild prepares one flower arrangement in the Church every week ensuring that it is complete prior to any weddings booked. This is a large arrangement which sits in the sanctuary next to the altar and remains in the Church for the Sunday service and following week. The only exception to this is during the season of Lent when there are no flowers in the Church. For any additional arrangements or special
requests, please contact the Verger, Ian Dunn, via the Parish Office.
Ushers
Please invite a couple of people to be ushers. They have an important role in welcoming your guests to the wedding, as well as handing out service sheets and showing the guests to their seats.
Bells
Bells are a wonderful option for the end of the ceremony. You can request to have them rung by our team of bell ringers, for an extra fee.
The Hall
Our is also available to hire as a reception venue or simply for refreshments, following the service. It has a maximum capacity of 150, with 80 chairs and some tables available for use. There are some rules regarding music volume and moderate alcohol consumption though, so please contact the office if you have further questions about this.
Candles & Confetti
We welcome rice and rose petals as good environmentally friendly confetti. Please use it outside the buildings.
The church has candles. If you have additional candles in mind, please let us know.
