Funerals can be a time of extraordinary stress and anxiety. At St Andrew’s we want to make things as simple as possible so that you can concentrate on celebrating the life of your loved one and say goodbye.
For over 150 years our church has helped countless families gather and be reassured of God’s love. We understand grief and loss so we are here to support you as you plan the right farewell.
At St Andrew’s we are able to offer a range of inexpensive services including catering, AV equipment, livestreaming, musicians and IT support. Please see below for costs.

Traditional Funeral
We are an Anglican Church so our services reflect a contemporary take on a timeless tradition. You can read the full order of service here. This is the foundation we use and adapt with you. This is suitable for an occasion where you have a casket/coffin or ashes available.
Memorial Service
A memorial service normally takes place when you do not have access to a casket/coffin or ashes. Your loved one’s body may not have been recovered. We can help you create a service that honours the life lived and offers closure.
Interment or Committal of Ashes
After a cremation you may wish to mark the moment when the ashes are finally laid to rest. This can help you finally let go of the one who has died. You can read our standard order of service here.

Church-related Costs
- Church $450
- Celebrant $350 (for Vicar)
- Use of A/V equipment $75
- Powerpoint operator $80
- Livestream operator $100
- Hall or Centre hire $40 per hour (including setup and packdown time)
- Kitchen use $10 per hour
- Refreshments duty person $100
- Catering by Metlifecare (from $11 per person)

CENTRE $40 (approx. 7 x 11 metres free space)
Capacity: 75 people / No. of chairs: 60

Capacity: 50 people / No. of chairs: 40
Other Services
Interment/Committal of Ashes
$250 standard fee [covering phone calls, emails, service preparation (typesetting and printing up to 12 copies), local travel local]
Parking
We have 42 free parking spaces onsite. This includes two disablity carparks.
